Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
Branding Services Australia respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What information we collect
When you submit an enquiry through our quote form, we collect:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your business name
- The type of branding service you need
- Your city
- Any project details you provide in the message field
- How you found our website (optional)
- Your phone number (optional)
The chat widget in the corner of the page is a short questionnaire, not a conversation with a person or an automated agent, and it collects:
- Your first name and email address
- Your business name and phone number, both optional
- Your answers to 4 questions: what is prompting the work, what you think you need, a rough budget range, and when you want to start
- The page you were on when you sent it
The budget question is a broad range, not a figure, and answering it is what lets a designer quote sensibly instead of guessing. It goes to the design studio with the rest of your brief and nowhere else. Every question can be skipped by closing the widget, and nothing is stored until you press send on the final step.
The phone field is optional and the form submits without it. If you do give a number, it is passed to the design studio along with the rest of your brief so a designer can call you instead of emailing. We never use it for sales calls, we do not call you ourselves, and we do not pass it to anyone other than the studio that receives your brief. Leaving it blank changes nothing about how your enquiry is handled.
We use basic web analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors use the site, which collects anonymous usage data such as page views and session duration.
How we use your information
The information you submit is used solely to pass your brief to a brand designer who can quote on it. We forward your enquiry so the designer can contact you directly. Your information is not used for any other purpose, is not sold, and is not added to a marketing list.
Who we share your information with
Your enquiry is forwarded to 1 recipient: an independent Australian brand design studio. Branding Services Australia is a referral service and does not employ designers, so the studio is the party that actually quotes on and performs the work. Your enquiry is not distributed to multiple bidders and is not resold.
Beyond that recipient, a small number of service providers process data on our behalf in the ordinary course of running the site: an email delivery provider (used to send the enquiry), a hosting provider (which handles the web request), and Google Analytics 4 (anonymous usage data). They act on our instructions and do not use your enquiry for their own purposes.
We do not sell your data, use it for unrelated marketing, or share it with advertising networks.
How we store your information
Enquiries are stored in our secure email systems for record keeping and follow-up. We retain them for 24 months, after which they are deleted unless you have become an ongoing contact.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This uses cookies and collects anonymous usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Your rights
Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
We aim to respond to any of these requests within 1 business day and to complete them within the timeframes set by the Privacy Act.
Contact us
To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question or make a complaint about this policy, use the form on the contact page. That form and the chat widget are the 2 ways in: no email address or phone number is published. Say in the message field that your enquiry is a privacy matter and it will be handled as one. If you would rather read before sending anything at all, the about page explains what this business is and how it works covers what happens to a brief.
